In before the SEC haters show up. 5 BCS Championships in a row now, boys. Isn’t it about time to drop the charade and just award the trophy to the SEC Champ? Playing the game has become a mere formality. 🙂 ---

I would like to say SEC because it ticks off so many people, but my heart is with the ACC. NFM Ga Tech Class of '83 ---

If anybody would like to put up a “like second best” (so as to rule out one’s own “home” or “alma mater”) conference, I won’t interfere. That would be in the spirit (as I read it) of the OP in the earlier thread on conferences. Likewise on the other divisions, other sports, etc. My own interests are FBS Football, so I have no real opinions on the other conferences. ---

Excluding my own alma mater’s conference (Big 10) I would have voted for the Pac-10, just because those two conferences have such a long history of competition and cooperation with each other. ---
