Ummm does Madam Vastra count? Something about those scales… I have an odd mental block, especially for a fanfic reader - I don’t 'ship folks outside the orientations they exhibit on the show, and I’m not attracted to women who identify as strictly straight. So the only ones on your list who I’d seriously consider shagging would be River Song and Amy Pond (both of whom have expressed at least some interest in women). ---

I don’t think what you describe is a genuine mental block. You like the characters as presented – as they “are” – and changing their sexual orientations is too big a switch.
