Which foot do you brake with?

Same as an old friend of mine. Without a genuine right leg and foot (he does have a prosthesis), he accelerates and brakes with his left foot. He’s had the pedals shifted leftward to make things easier, but it’s still gas on the right, and the brake on the left.

I also voted Right Foot, my commuter cars have been predominately manual, until I switched over from my 5 speed Civic to the Kona EV in 2019. I went from three pedal driving to one pedal pretty quickly.

I use both feet for braking, of course, as Fred Flintstone taught me. Yabbadabbadu!

Years ago I had left foot surgery and was in a cast. The doc said it would be ideal to elevate my foot, so when driving I put it out the window (it was summer time). I was driving a manual so I used a cane to operate the clutch. It was almost like operating a motorcycle, using my left hand for the clutch.
