I’m on board with “gray because it makes the pattern more subtle.” The red doesn’t work for me and the blue could be nice but you’d have to really carry it off. The gray you could wear every day for the rest of your life. ---

The charcoal one. Although I like the colors in the blue and straw, Hermes shouldn’t look that obvious. ---

I don’t really like any of them, the horse thing does nothing for me. Colorwise I like the burgundy first, then the charcoal. ---

I voted for burgundy because I like burgundy. But frankly I think they all look pretty stupid. Little horses are appropriate for pre-teen girls and look silly on an adult man, imho. ---

I’m sorry, I think they’re all fugly, including the one **Ellen Cherry** posted. I mean, I can’t even comprehend spending $800 on a scarf or a pair of shoes, but I’ve spent that much on other frivolous things that the OP would probably think I was crazy for buying. To each his own. Hmm…ooh, off to start a thread! 🙂 That gray scarf is pretty, though. I don’t like the horse pattern but you can’t really see it on the gray one. And it looks very soft. ---

Why eat at the French Laundry when McDonalds exists? They’re the kind of people who show up in Cafe Society threads claiming to “not even know who Britney Spears” is, and they imagine we oooh and aaah at what iconoclasts they are, how they transcend the rest of us sheeple who only spent $800 on a scarf because the media brainwashed us to think it was necessary. ---
