No requirement at all for the Prime Minister to be a citizen, but political reality is that it would be difficult to be prime minister without a seat in the House.

And in general, the Courts wont mess with the Will of the People. They might rule someone can be removed from the ballot. But once elected? I dont think anyone has been ruled ineligible and removed.
