The goal of a lift isn’t to be so high you can drive over obstacles between the tires, but to put your tires on them and drive over them without flipping over. Here’s a Jeep with relatively little ground clearance navigating boulders that are about windshield height.
Although I doubt he’s ever had it dirty, the white truck is technically functional, just hideous. The exhaust pipes sticking up from the bed are a particularly nice touch.
The second truck probably has ginormous tires but put the little tires on to fit on a trailer or something like this.
It’s alright, true the female of the species arent as prone to stupid penis vehicles as the males, but you have your peccadillos too- such as driving those ancient original deathtrap VW beetles as “they are* sooo cute*!”
The google pics search led me to this interesting MB thread. Not SDMB, so be aware not to board war.
More pics and a youtube vid.
The Jeep you linked to has a rock crawler suspension that has travel measured in feet.
The white truck doesn’t have anywhere near that much travel. Try to drive that truck over the same rocks as that jeep and it will be ugly.
I hope that’s actually a monster truck temporarily made street legal for transport.
If I must choose I’ll say lowrider cars. Because I think jacked up trucks with huge tires are awesome!!!
My last vehicle was a Dodge Ram 1500 4X4 short bed regular cab. like this
FTR I am female hetero and a girlie girl. I love penises; but do not envy them. I can not speak to your posit regarding the need to compensate for a tiny penis; as I have never dated a man with a topheavy lifted truck. But when I do I’ll let you know ![]()
My answer to the OP: lowriders which look like they shrank in the wash or are not in drivable condition. There was a time when a green Caprice looking so much like a begging dog with an amputated paw was often parked outside my apartment.
Yep as someone who has a lifted Jeep it was mainly about getting bigger tyres for better clearance but also as you’re picture of the jeep shows it is also about better articulation to go rock crawling.
I’ll go with lowrider trucks, especially fullsize ones, like this. As noted, at least with a mild lift and wheels a truck can still be used as a truck.
I’d say

is worse. ![]()
Dumbest thing I ever saw was a low rider CJ/Wrangler Jeep. Complete with the tires with the 1" high sidewall. :smack:
If it had a regular suspension bolted to a lowering kit that would be a viable way to have a daily driven low-rider.
