TubaDiva and C K Dexter Haven (formerly CKDextrHavn) were chat hosts on the old AOL section of the SDMB. Tuba also became a moderator in that section, though I’m not sure if Dex ever did. Eventually I became a mod on the old AOL boards. When the SDMB moved here, Tuba was, I believe, appointed admin at the start. Again, not sure about Dex. I was appointed as a mod at the start. All three of us are admins now. I don’t care to speculate (in public at least) about my own sanity, or the sanity of my fellow mods/admins. All that I’ll say is that the other two are kinder and probably saner than I am. ---

I’ve been in service (more or less) since July of 1996. CKDexterHaven started working as an AOL chat host in the fall of 1996, IIRC. Lynn was one of the first message board moderators on the old AOL site … I confess I do not remember exactly when. Eutychus was not far behind her. This would have been 1997 or so, I think. Maybe they remember better. And what makes you think we’re not as “batshit” as you are? Some would say more so. They might be correct. 😃 ---
