Who uses a thimble nowadays? I do not know anyone under 60 that sews anymore! DEATH TO THE THIMBLE! And robot actually might be cooler than Guitar 🙂 ---

All of the options for addition are too “now” for me. I always liked that the pieces themselves were fairly timeless, catering to no specific time period between 1925 and now. ---

Definitely get rid of the iron and add the robot. Can’t get rid of the thimble, it’s The Thimble, the wee underdog object, the humblest of the objects, destined to rule. But, when the robot comes, I’m picking robot instead. ---

Edit: The photo definitely shows a vintage looking toy robot, not some modern remote controlled programmable thing. Although typing that makes me think we should ditch the iron and replace it with a Roomba. ---

BTW, you are supposed for one you want to keep, not one you want to lose. But, as the OP asked I went with Thimble and Robot…because its a freaking thimble and a freaking robot. BTW, the one that must not go is the Top Hat. ---
