“Babe” always does it to me. “If I could make a perfect day for you…” I consider “Babe” to be one of the very few movies that is absolutely perfect in every way. ---

Many many movies including, yes, copiously @ Jessie’s song in _Toy Story 2_. Even, for some reason, the re-remake of _Little Women_ with Winona Ryder (??), which had my then-new girlfriend looking at me in that dark theater _very_ suspiciously. But the first movie I cried pretty much continuously thru was _Robin and Marian._ ---

I was too stunned to cry. I’d heard it was sad going into it, but hoooooly shit, it is light years beyond sad. ---

I’m not sure crying is the right word but after watching KPAX again I find it has more emotional punch. I think it’s because I fully understand what is going on and who is affected by the main character. I would definitely recommend it be seen at least twice. ---
