Not seeing much movement WRT the federal shutdown. In another thread, someone mentioned the upcoming elections as potentially encouraging some movement, by suggesting voter sympathies. Do you expect that to be the case? If so, any particular races you are watching? ---

I’m watching the margins in VA and NJ governors races. Just to see how much of the bloom might have come off the MAGA movement. Results with independents in particular, but young people would be useful info too. ---

The Democratic VA AG candidate had a last minute “scandal” of some text messages with jokes about murder. Something like “that guy deserves a bullet” about a political opponent, texting to one of his allies. ---

It’s close because Democratic candidate Jay Jones made an ill-advised comment about wanting to shoot his political opponent and his children, and that’s only okay when a Republican says it. ---
