I went with Betty White on the basis of age. Not that all of the women on the list are spring chickens, but Betty is clearly quite a bit older than the others, from my memory. ---

My choice was going to be Ellen until I saw Oprah, as all the others besides those got famous at least partially due to their looks. I guess I can leave Ellen out because she used to model, but then the next one down is Rosie. So I cheaped out and went with Palin. ---

Kate Upton is the only one known primarily has a model. Others may have modeled at some point in their careers but are better known as either actresses, TV personalities, or for their politics. ---
