So would I. I would like there to be a whole farmyard of brainless animals for us to feast upon. I wonder if vat grown meat, offal and skin would be less environmentally damaging than having the animals (brainy or otherwise) intact?
I am actually an unapologetic speciesist. Humanity is my team. Forced to choose between a human life and a non-human animal’s life, I will almost always choose the human.
Having said that, I have a similar concern to rachellogram on the issue. I’d allow the brainless clone option, but I worry that the tech would be abused in infelicitous and disturbing ways.
Thank you for that new and nommy word! I shall add it to my collection of favorites henceforth.
I was going to give you Brainiac Five’s force-shield belt and flight ring for your birthday (he doesn’t need them right now, as I have his head), but since you like words, here’s gey, isogenous, psychagogic, and solleret.
Hmmm. I hope you got a gift receipt, 'cause *gey *doesn’t go with my language, and *isogenous *is just ugly. *Psychagogic *I quite like though, and I’m pretty sure I have a SCAdian friend I can regift *solleret *to…thanks!
Gey is a wonderful word, dearest; it’s Scots for “very.” As for isogenous, it’s a marvelous word, and were you not on the Short List I would have to do something cruel to you for your insolence. As it as you’ve forced me to drop one of the Nancy Grace clones into the ratel pit.
