Which of these three Revolutions do you think is more important/influential?

Hari: What happened in Canada in 1982?

I don’t think anyone is arguing that (or at least, I’m not), it’s just that the ideas that changed as a result of the Industrial (and, arguably, the French) revolutions were greater in effect than the American. On the other hand, you can argue (as indeed you have done) that the French revolution was at least partly inspired by the American. I don’t know enough history to judge the accuracy of that statement, so I’m happy to defer to superior knowledge.

Here in the US, we’re taught that the economic problems caused by France helping to finance the American Revolution was partly to blame for the conditions that lead up to the French Revolution.

Huh, I never knew that. But then (funnily enough) the American revolution isn’t a major topic in British schools! That could be another argument for the American revolution being more influential than the French.
