Joey Buttafuoco and the Long Island Lolita better known as Amy Fisher are prime examples I think. I suppose we should do better than finding infamous court cases. I can’t help it though. John Waybe Bobbitt and has wife Lorena are another example. On a more sinister note the McMartin’s of California certainly had their moment in the sun. ---

do people count if they had other impact, like send some person to prison or injure a person? is it media attention only? ---

Special mention among the Tiger Woods women has to go to Rachel Uchitel. Her first famous moment is actually really sad - being on the front of The New York Times holding a picture of her fiancé (who was killed in the World Trade Center) in the wake of 9/11. Then to become world famous again, eight years later, for something completely (COMPLETELY) different is quite odd - and by going on Celebrity Rehab/posing for Playboy it seems she’s trying to drag out this 15 minutes as far as it will go.
