Who are the posters excite you? For me it is **DDG** , google queen who struck me as an extremely intelligent stay at home mom who had the ability to discern and extract truth from the WWW. Unfortunately she dropped below my radar, avoiding topics that we used to frequent mutually. **Polycarp** head liberal christian on the board. Extremely intelligent christian, extremely devout, and extremely capable of presenting a coherent view of the relevance of the bible while denying biblical inerrancy. **Libertarian** awesome Christian logician of love. **Triscedamus** , The Sister Theresa of the SDMB \*\* Andros\*\* , fellow north-west coaster, someone who I’ve never nailed down, but who was the first person to really rattle my cage on this board. Andros likes to rattle cages. **Fenris/Scylla** Two people, both conservatives with views that I largely support. Both highly regarded in this community. However both have expressed there utter disgust with me, which left me feeling somewhat disheartened. **Diogenes** , arch atheist worth listening to by any believer in Christ. **Jodi** , female christian lawyer, I think. I don’t know any female christian lawyers, but if she practised in my town, I’d be knocking on her door. **leckat** , ya I know he’s been labelled a kook, but I believe we all come to God in different ways, and **leckat’s** way is quite special. **december** I just have a place in my heart for those everyone hates. Besides he’s just about my age, and I seem to be a little more sympathetic to his debating style of attempting to catch people in error. Oh well. **collounsbury** I hated the son of a bitch. the most arrogant bastard I’ve ever come across real or virtual. But count me as one of those who constantly reads his live journal. **monsto, bigirl** , two people who represent the black female segment of our society. We don’t have many black women in my part of Canada, but I did date a black girl from Jamaica when I went to university. I was devastated when we broke up in the summer. **Andygirl** , the lesbian spokeswoman. Always fascinated by her point of view, considering I have lesbian relatives, who would appear straight when discussing general topics. I feel like I’m getting the unvarnished truth here. **sistercoyote** , formerly\*\* dogsbody\*\*, former undergraduate of a lutheran university in California, self described bisexual. I liked her picture. **matt\_mcl** , fellow Canadian, probably one of the most interesting posters on the SDMB. Young **Matt** , still a teenager, came to my defence several years ago, when he challenged the way a mod handled a question I presented in GQ. Now **Matt** has never given me any indication that he liked me, but his sense of fairness drove him to start a thread challenging a mod decision on my behalf. Unfortunately, I do not share his exuberance regarding mass transportation. **gobear** , the conservative gay, monagamous for the past two years. Considering his illustrious lifestyle in the past, his penchant for research particularly on the major issues of the day, and the seemingly contradictory positions he appears to take, requires careful reading. Rewarding however. **Esprix** , gay spokesman, sunday school teacher, asian enthusiast, the quintessential gay. **tomndeb** Is it Tom or is it Deb or is either or is it both. Clearly the depth of knowledge here is phenominal. **tamerlane** , a historical scholar, what else can I say? **edwino** the genetic scholar I’ll bet I forgot someone. Who plays big for you on the SDMB? ---

**BornofStardust** gets the automatic SO nod. 😉 **Collounsbury** was vitriolic, but he and I agreed on many things and he knew his stuff. I thought what he sometimes lacked restraint, he made up in firsthand perspective. **december** excited me in a literal sense - whenever I saw he’d been posting, I got a headache, felt a tightness in my chest and started worrying I was gonna have a stroke. 😛 I noticed I hadn’t gotten that in GD in a few weeks, but I didn’t realize why until the other day. I’ll almost surely live longer without him around. I’m a big **Diogenes** fan myself. **Tomndeb** is a good call as well. I’d add **Zenster** , **Musicat** , **Q.E.D.** , and **Blalron** is often entertaining. **Dogface** deserves a place in the hall of fame for “Ah, they’re 1920’s style “Death Rays”.” And **Cervaise** gets the next spot for “Flapper Zappers,” which is among the most fucking hilarious things I’ve ever read. ---

**Sam Stone** gets my nod of the day. His grasp of economics is excellent and he has a knack for clear explanations. I won’t deny that it helps that I agree with most of what he has to say. He just says it better than I could. ---

Wow…there are just so many… **Siege** and **Polycarp** always get my click on the thread because I respect both of their opinions very much. Same for **gobear**. **Satisfying Andy Licious** has made me laugh several times. So had **dantheman**. I stay out of GD for the most part but the knowledge in there sometimes blows me away. I can’t even begin to name all of them that impress. **Diogenes** or as he will forever be known in my mind **Doggy Knees** always has an interesting take on things. I like to read his posts. I would go on but I’m sure I’ll leave out someone who really does impress me… Let’s just say there are a lot of good people on this board. 🙂 ---

Is fresh and interesting **Junanita Tech** makes me cringe. She dislikes me with a passion and it shows in every poison dart she throws at me **auntie’em** very funny. starts good threads I’m sure there are more but these are the ones that are on top of my head.
