Which shows make you think of staying home from school as a kid?

Skipping over the thread to post:

The Price is Right was one of the things I watched religiously when home from school (school holidays, sick days, summer, etc.). Other morning game shows, too – can’t remember them all, but The 10,000 Pyramid and Press Your Luck were simple fun.

The Price Is Right.

And Space Jam - “I don’t want to go to school today. I want to stay home and bake cookies with you!”

Wow, coulda sworn it was still $10,000 Pyramid during those years. Can’t trust me memory, though :stuck_out_tongue:

After 6 yrs, nobody has mentioned Beastmaster? It was on TBS almost every single time I was home sick.

Game shows, but mostly ones that are long gone: Funny You Should Ask, You Don’t Say, Concentration, Tattletales, Three on a Match

… And* I’ll** form the head!*

Let me add Hollywood Squares and Let’s Make a Deal.

Match Game didn’t get really raunchy until it was revived in the '70s.

When it was on CBS with Bud Collyer, there was a daytime version and (briefly, as I recall) a nighttime version. This was in 1965–66, I think, since one of the contestants was the guy who wrote “Ballad of the Green Berets.”

The syndicated version with Garry Moore came on in the late afternoon in MPS/StP, right at the same time the first cycle of Star Trek reruns was on another channel.

Liar’s Club
Treasure Hunt

when i was a little tyke, it was reruns of St. Elsewhere then Sale of the Century and Wheel of Fortune. But there was also reruns of Little House on the Prairie and Perry Mason too.
