I have to say a word defending Neelix. He was a nice departure from the regimented cookie-cutter characters in all the ST series. It’s nice to know that in the future, not everyone will march to the same drummer, fresh out of Starfleet Academy, or whatever it’s called in a given week’s alien culture. And hey, you’ve gotta give the guy credit for having to spend so long in makeup. ---

1. Counselor Troi. She is the most useless character on ANY of the “Star Trek” series. As Romulans are bombarding the Enterprise and the shields are falling, thank God we have Troi to tell us helpful things like, “I sense hostility, Captain.” 2) Her freaking mother. I know we’re SUPPOSED to regard her as a delightful, uninhibited free spirit. She’s not. She’s an annoying old lady who needs to learn to keep her clothes on. 3) Guinan. Because she’s Whoopi Goldberg (do I need another reason?) ---

TOS - I would like to feed all space hippies & the annoying children from “Miri” to the Doomsday Machine. TNG - I would gladly trade Wesley’s death for the opportunity to bitch-slap his mom, Troi’s mother, & Picard as the need arises. ---

TOS- The “space hippies” NG- Wesley Crusher DS9-That Bajoran religious leader, played by Nurse Ratchett Voyager-actually, I didn’t mind most of the regular crew, and I can’t remember specific aliens. E- Never watched much, but the Vulcan, whatever her name was. ---

Hmmm- OS- Chekov. He was annoying. (I actualy like Walter Koenig as an actor in other things like Babylon 5) TNG- Wesley. DS9- Ezri Dax. Voyager- All of them except the EMH. Enterprise- All of them but the Asian chick. ---

OS: Uhura. What the hell dose she do anyway. TNG: The elder Crusher; I like Gates McFadden but I think after a spike in season 3,4, she was just a passenger in the last three seasons. DS9; Jake Sisko Voyager: Janeway. If it has been Chakotay incharge as it should have been they would have gotten home ages ago Enterprise: Pulloxwhatshisname. ---

He faked his own death and left his (unknown until now, very substantial) holdings to Quark, in order to ferret out someone who was out to kill him for those holdings. As far as Troi’s mom goes, I never got the impression that we were ever supposed to particularly like her. That is to say, I think she was _supposed_ to be annoying as all get-up, as that was how she was consistently portrayed and perceived by the other characters. For TOS, I’m drawing a blank. Maybe just whoever wrote “Spock’s Brain”. 😃 Maybe a couple of the Weyouns on DS9. Not that it would help. 😃 ---
