From all the starships in film. Well? And what would be your second choices? Assume you’re in total command I’m not too versed in Sci-Fi, but I think I’d plump for the **Executor** from _Star Wars_ as the ship to command, beating the **Liberator** from _Blake’s 7_ by a smidge. Big weapons, minions, squadrons of smaller craft, what’s not to like? For pilotting, I’ll go for the **Millennium Falcon** with **Serenity** as my second choice. The Falcon’s armed, and Han Solo’s cooler than Malcolm Reynolds. ---

[/QUOTE] I would definitely NOT want to command or pilot the SSD **Executor** ; the command staff on that ship – never mind the entire task force – tends to have a poor retirement plan. I wouldn’t mind driving a **White Star** corvette from _Babylon 5_. And I would love to command a properly supplied Battlestar (with fully patched software and avionics) from the re-imagined _Battlestar Galactica_. ---

Hmm, lets see here… from **Farscape** ; a Nebari Host Vessel, a starship capable of turning a Peacekeeper Command Carrier (a ship itself capable of destroying planets) to slag, or maybe a Scarran Dreadnought from **BSG (Re-imagined)** A MK II Viper, sure it’s not a massive starship like the Galactica, but it’s just a plain cool Space Superiority fighter from **Star Trek** the U.S.S. Prometheus, Multi-Vector Assault Mode is just too cool… ---

To command: probably the Enterprise-D, with updated and safety-locked holodecks. To fly: A White Star. I’m remembering a certain maneuver against some Shadow minions after Delenn commands “End this!” 😃 ---

Command, I would go with the White Star. Small, but a fair amount of arse kicking ability. Second choice would be one of the space-borne sailing ships from Disney’s Treasure Planet (yes I know they are way across the suspension of belief line, but durn if they aren’t cool) Pilot, the good old Incom T-65 X-wing. Definitely not the Falcon, I really wouldn’t want to try to drive something where the cockpit was tacked way on the side making sure that when maneuvering in tight spaces (as the Falcon always seems to have to) the most likely thing to get torn off the ship is the thing with me in it. ---

B5 Universe, definitely a White Star. ST Universe, I’d probably go with a Defiant. Yeah, the big boys have lots of cool toys and firepower, but you’re in command, not in play. Too many people to manage, too much time doing executive level bullshit. You’re too far removed from the game.
