# Which state gets the least amount of snow?

Actually, Mauna Kea gets a fair amount. My WAG would be Florida.

It snows reguarly on top of the tallest volcanoes in Hawaii.

My WAG would be Florida. Southernmost port of the continental USA, and no mountains. I suspect someone with real data will be along shortly.

I would guess FL too. Here is the list of cities which get the most and least snow. I can’t find anything listed by state though.

I found a pretty picture: [“Mean Monthly and Annual Snowfall”](http://www.climatesource.com/cd11/snow_us.gif). Looks like Florida, although Lousiana may have a shot.

One would think that in a picture like that, the whitest part should’ve been the areas with the most snow, not the least.

Meteorologists have no sense of aesthetics.
