On that list, I’d say the tarantula, being the only invertebrate. Although the python can also be argued, as the only one without legs or ‘fur’. As for a new list… Batman Sherlock Holmes Sam Spade Allan Pinkerton Hercule Piorot (Kind of a softball, sure…) ---

It’s easy to find things that don’t belong. Batman – wears a mask Sherlock Holmes – only one that is English. The only one who plays the violin. Sam Spade – only character to appear in a single novel. Allan Pinkerton – only one who wasn’t fictional. Hercule Poirot – the only one to have a moustache (and not a beard). Or this: Chicago – only one not to win a Tony in its original run. Pajama Game – only one to win Tonys for best musical and for best revival A Chorus Line – Fosse. Damn Yankees – Only one whose original lead actress reprised her role in the film version. ---
