Romantic ‘move in’:Damn, this is a toughie. I’d like to pick Rachel’s sister from friends (Because she would have the looks of Reese Witherspoon), but she was a total bitch. Hmmm, I’ll pick Joey’s younger sister instead (Marla SolokofuckedifIknowhowtospellit) \ Romantic move in extended to movies: Mary Jane Watson. Pal move in: Homer Simpson, or Joey, or Chandler, or maybe Niles (Crane), Pal move in, extended to movies: It’d be cool to live with Sunny, the NS5 from the I,robot film. ---

So I’m the only person who would actively prefer someone of the opposite sex as a roommate but not as a romantic interest? What? Don’t look at me like that. I’m perfectly happy to just be friends… god knows I’ve got enough practice. ---

Ivanova from Babylon 5 [provided we start as friends…not as someone who answered an advert in a paper…] She is intelligent, has the same sense of humor I have, is _very_ loyal to friends, and expects the same back, and is somehow comfortable to be around [she likes good food, the occasional night out drinking but isnt a drunk, and probably likes to spend time with a good movie and popcorn now and then.] She strikes ne as a ‘good’ scorpio, what I try to be=) ---

Bebe Neuwirts character in the new law and order spin off. She is really hot and mouthed “fuck” on tv and got away with it. As a roomate, I would have to take Jerry Orbachs character. He has a good sense of humor, and is never at home. ---

For a platonic roommate, I’d pick Abby Lockheart(Maura Tierney). She seems like she’d pay the rent on time, would be good in the case of an accident, and would be so wrapped up in her various long-term romantic entanglements that I wouldn’t worry about finding strange guys in our apartment every other week. For a roommate I’d sleep with, I’d pick Michael “Berg” Bergen (Ryan Reynolds). None of you saw that coming, I’m sure 😃 Gotta pick a guy who’ll make you laugh, has a lively mind, and he’s hot hot hot. Actually, as long as Abby doesn’t extend her interest in younger men to the guy on e.r. it could be interesting to share a house with them both at the same time. We’d definitely be all set on the medical emergencies front! ---

Yeah, the host prior to Jadzia was Curzon, a male, but Dax, the symbiont itself, is androgynous so far as it’s been explained. For what it’s worth, Dax has been a male and female five times each. ---

If we’re taking “move in” to be romantic relationship-wise: Fox Mulder (X-Files) all the way. Smart, sexy, funny, charming, good job, so he liked his porn - who doesn’t? As a platonic roomie? Monica from Friends. Granted she can be a bit annoying, but I _hate_ to cook and clean, and with her as a roomie, it’d be like having a housekeeper/cook who paid rent instead of my paying them a salary.
