If you could select any TV character that plays a wife or husband as your ideal (or close to it) mate, who would it be? I’m really goind to worry about the first to pick June or Ward Cleaver. My pick would be Debra, the incredibly cute number on Everybody Loves Raymond. She’s intelligent, funny, a good mom and looks incredible in a pair of pajamas. She’s not anal about housecleaning and would let me play golf. How about you? ---

And to think, the first image in my mind as I saw the thread title was “Rowr, June Cleaver! She could swing a mean mop…” I think that’s just an aftereffect of reading a Bloom County collection and seeing Opus’ dream wife. But, yes, Helen Hunt can handcuff me and bend me over the trunk of a police car any day. ---
