Somewhat related aside:: Years back, we used the VCR to film various Christmas specials. We filmed a Charles Schulz special and a Will Vinton Special. My Mom has since commented that if you didn’t know, you would think the tape was describing food. The handwritten label listing all of the shows had in part “…Peanuts, Rasins…” ---

_Hagar the Horrible_ and _The Lockhorns_. Both feature loveless marriages with domineering bitches as wives. Perhaps the Lockhorns could somehow travel back in time & place to Viking-era Norway. ---

I thought the obvious one would be _Calvin and Hobbs_ with _Frazz_ The Op mentioned Cathy and Dilbert. That would be impossible. I’m sure that Dilbert’s Co-Worker Alice would bring the fists of death upon Cathy. At least 'd like to think so.
