Flying over does not count; setting foot on solid ground (so to speak) does. Note the ‘ **ALL** ’ option, and please also check each state individually when selecting ALL (it’s a pain, I know, but what else do you have to do that’s more important, huh?) Note that there are actually \*two \*‘ **NONE** ’ options; please choose wisely. mmm ---

I chose the ones I have actually had some kind of destination in, leaving out the ones I have set foot in, but mainly in the course of getting _through_ them rather than _to_ them. ---

All but a few. Alaska & Hawaii, and pretty sure I’ve missed North Dakota and Vermont to date. Love me some long road trips 🙂 ---

Canadian here. I have spent time in Washinton and California and had a brief visit of the airports in Florida and New York ---

Personally, I only counted states which had a destination, not just a layover/drive-through experience. If we add those in, I’d tick off Maryland, West Virginia, Missouri, Oklahoma, and Colorado as well. Possibly Tennessee - I don’t remember the exact route to North Carolina. ---

States I’ve lived in: Illinois Missouri Texas States I’ve been to and actually did stuff in (work, or vacation): Massachusetts Connecticut New York New Jersey Pennsylvania Maryland Delaware D.C. Virginia North Carolina South Carolina Georgia Florida Tennessee Kentucky Ohio Mississippi Louisiana Arkansas Oklahoma Kansas Minnesota Colorado (probably deserves “Honorable Mention” for “Lived In;” I was there working for 8 months the first time, 11 the second) New Mexico Washington California States I’ve been through (gas ‘n’ go, hotel stops for a night): W. Virginia Indiana Alabama Iowa Wisconsin Wyoming Montana South Dakota ETA: I would really like to do Alaska before I die, just to see the Aurora Borealis. ---

44 plus DC. I counted Oklahoma and Georgia, where I have only changed planes, but I have physically been everywhere but Mississippi, Alabama, Alaska, Hawaii, Tennessee, and Arkansas. Also have been in all of the Canadian provinces except for the Yukon, the Northwest Territories, Nunavut, Newfoundland and Labrador. All of the southern ones, in other words. ---

All but North Dakota, although I’ve only been to an airport in Minnesota (which I ticked off, although I don’t personally count it). I’ve probably spent at least one night in 40 of them, although sometimes it was only sleeping under an overpass while hitchhiking. ---

Canadian and apparently the first 100%'r. We took annual driving vacations when I was a child throughout the mainland states and I continued that traditon as an adult. I checked off my last two - Alaska 2000, Hawaii 2008. Puerto Rico and American Samoa are the only things keeping me from a true 100%. ---
