I spin around as necessary to maximize waste-water flow, but I begin and end by facing the showerhead, and consider it my default. Male. ---

Female here. We have a hand-held shower so I can have direct water to any part of the body that needs it. In the coffin-sized shower in our apartment, I can only face away to rinse my hair, because at any other time my front would be plastered up against the wall. I actually have to step forward toward the wall the shower is mounted on to soap up the front. The bathtub is in a different bathroom than the shower, so I shave in the tub, dry off, put on my robe and go to the other bathroom to shower. We don’t like this place very much. ---

I have never, nor do I know anyone that shaves their legs outside of the shower and then takes a shower. Where do they shave them? In the sink? I’ve always shaved my legs while showering. I just put my foot up on the edge of the tub. If my shower wasn’t part of the bathtub, I would just bed over and shave them.
