# White Chocolate

What is white chocolate? Since it is chocolate shouldn’t it be brown? Why is it white?

It is fake chocolate, it is designed to be white (creamy off white, really.) In some ways it has better handling qualities than real chocolate, but vastly inferior taste.

I’m pretty sure it’s not supposed to be a competitor for chocolate- it doesn’t taste much at all like chocolate. At any rate, it’s not meant to be a substitute for chocolate.
