I received my White Elephant box today! I had the pleasure of opening it at work, where I could share my delight and horror at every item as I picked it out. Thanks very much to \*\*Marjorie \*\*- you clearly took a lot of time and care in picking out the stuff and packing the box. I love the red sink mat and the red laundry basket thing…even though I can’t figure out how to close it back up! The books - pretty diverse selection, from sci-fi to romance. Certainly keep me occupied! And all the horror films! I can’t wait…how did you know that I love watching horror movies the whole month of October? In fact, I think I’m going to have a horror movie night in your honor. 🙂 I’ll make full use of the game set you included. Lots of kid stuff…unfortunately I don’t have kids, but my co-worker has three of various ages, so she’ll benefit from this exchange too! All the weird random things: the headband, the lone zipper, the travel toothbrush, the bra thingie…awesome! ---

I’ve been busy lately, working two jobs. But I will get my box out. A friend of mine may donate something awesome, but he is having family stuff. No sign of my elephant yet. ---

An elephant knocked on my kitchen door this morning. Well, the mail carrier helped. I’d like to thank my sender, but a user name wasn’t included. IRL initials, K.O. you know who you are… I hope. 😃 The box held lots of fun things: 2 movies some B’day cards Windex sheets lots of little toys and kid things, my neighbor’s tots will love them. My kitties want to keep the bubbles and the geodesic ball. a squirrel and acorn salt and pepper set (I’ll torture my husband with them for a while.) ribbon toothpaste (what have you heard?) air freshener (Hubby likes it) wild flower seeds misused word dictionary little radio (hubby grabbed that) Cards Maybe some other stuff. I almost forgot! last year’s ele contained a scary mask… of the Burger King. I included that in this year’s outgoing ele. So, I’ve been punished with yet another! Just wait for next year! ---

Ooooh, **HockeyMonkey** , your elephant reached Ohio on Friday and I had such an odd weekend that I completely forgot to post! I love the dart game and all the stuffed animals and foam basketballs and about a million things I’m forgetting. I’ll come back with details later in the week. Thanks lots, though. I didn’t get to send my box out on Saturday as I’d hoped. I’m going to try to send it out tomorrow, but it may be a couple of days late leaving Ohio. I’ll post once it’s on its way. ---

My pair of pachederms has neither come nor gone, but I’m glad I’m not the only procrastinator. The rogue raccoon that was holding my junk box seems to have left the premesis but taken all of my spare time with it. Said outbound elephant will be packed up soon and shipped out before the end of this week or else I will have to simply slap an address label on my black trunk and ship it as is. To my elephantor, take your time, I’m in no hurry. To my elephantee, I’ll make it up to you with some cool stuff. ---

I’m running behind on my elephant, too. I’ve got a couple things put together but most of my plans of things to send were a bit girly and I ended up getting a guy for my WE so I’ve had to rethink some of my contributions. Then there’s my problem of “Oh, I could send him this thing!” then I start thinking that I might want to keep that thing. I will try to get it out this weekend. ---

I am also behind on my elephant. My days off turned out to be miserable, and of course I have worked every day since. I am collecting stuff, though my wife cleaned out my trove of junk for the garage sale. To my recipient, I assure you it will be on it’s way. To my elephanter, no rush. I would feel bad getting a box if I haven’t sent mine out yet.
