STOMP! STOMP! The elephant has arriven! Oooh…audio books and computer games and tissuebox cover with a teddy bear on it and a Florida bag and an electronic aquarium and buttons and a survival whistle/matchbox/compass thingy, and… Wheeee!!! I am the lamest lame who ever lamed for being so late sending out my elephant - but it is now galumphing eastward prodigiously! I await its safe arrival (and hope its recipient forgives me for being so late). ---

Unless there’s a box sitting on the doorstep when I get home tonight, neither **supervenusfreak** or I have received elephants yet. We wanted to wait for the deadline before we said anything. If our elephanter sent them out a while ago, let this be notification that someone in the postal service is rustling elephants. ---

I haven’t received mine either, though **frog princess** spilled the beans upthread and said she was my slacking elephantor. **FP** , if you’ve sent it, I haven’t received it. Just a heads up. ---

FTR, no elephant has found its way over here yet. Or if it did, then the mailman once again ignored my request to leave packages on the side porch, and not on the front porch where any old pachyderm poacher could easily ride off with it. ---

I haven’t mailed mine yet. I keep trying out new boxes, one’s too big, another’s too small but I think I have it figured out now. I am going to try and get to the post office today, tomorrow at the latest. For the record, my elephantee is not any of those that have posted about not having received his yet. ---

Yes! Let the bitching begin! Actually if those of you that have no elephant, and haven’t recieved an update from your sender, could e-mail me that would be great. I already have volunteers ready with extra packages of elephanty goodness to send out, so no freaking out yet, ok? For those of you who haven’t e-mailed me about being late, if you’re Elephantee hasn’t recieved anything, you ARE going to get a bitchy e-mail from me. Like, Mach 10 Bitch. You’ve been warned. And for the record, my elephant has arrived - thank you very much **rockingchair** - the stash of gold coins and diamonds was exactly what I needed. Whats that? There was a note on my front door from the owner of the art gallery downstairs that he got a package for me today. I haven’t ordered anything so I suspect that it’s my elephant! The poor little thing will spend tonight and possibly tomorrow locked up in the gallery but I will update as soon as I have my hot little hands on him 🙂 ---

Well, I almost made the deadline but a sinus infection that made me feel like crap Tuesday through Thursday and my second job on Friday going overtime kept me from getting to the post office in time. I have my package ready and will priority mail it on Monday. I haven’t received a bitching email yet, nor has my recipient posted. Nothing to say but I’m sorry, best laid plans of mice and coyotes often go awry. ---

A big thank you to **Zebra** who sent me a video game system from the early 80s, complete with original manual (oh, the amusing photos!) I haven’t tried it out yet, but I’m sure I’ll have fun with it. And my package is on its way to **The Punkyova**. Hopefully she has a use for my old junk 🙂 ---
