Hey folks - just your friendly neighbourhood Elephant Wrangler checking in. It looks like people are receiving stuff, which is good. I’m currently compiling cra… um, amazing treasures for anyone that doesn’t receive a package, and I need to know who’s still waiting. I’ll give Elephanter’s a full 8 weeks to come through (Thats August 26 folks), but an idea of how many packages I have to send out would be great. Could anyone who either a)hasn’t got a package, or b)cannot send a package please e-mail me? I’ve already heard from a few people that are having trouble getting things together, but a complete list would be great, just so I have some idea how I’m gonna have to divy this stuff up. 🙂 (and to Elephanter’s - _PLEEESE_ try to send your package - I’m to be used only as a _ **LAST RESORT!!!** _ - I don’t have an unlimited postage budget. I got my Elephant from **RickQ** on the 27th of July. Rick & Brynda’s Wedding CD Macy Gray CD (A true White Elephant, at least to me. None of my friends will even let me give it to them!) "cat nap” blindfold sleepy thing tape “I’ll Sing for You” by Mike Hamer Ocean Colour Scene CD (This has potential) Sauces for Pasta! book perfume True crime book by Ann Rule (I have already devoured this one, as I do any unread book that appears in my house) fish pins (will replace various pins that fell off my backpack in the course of the last semester) necklace and ring glass paperweight with sand from Isle of Wight in England Note from **Rick** on a beautiful card with picture of Scotland (My roomie will love seeing this pic!) What do you mean Macy Gray is a true white elephant, I like that CD (but we have two copies). Oh well, I guess not everyone has perfect taste in music like me 😉 As for the red things, yes, they are napkin rings. They are an hierloom white elephant, as Brynda got them from the last go round. Woohoo!! Just a couple of days ago, I was going to resurrect this thread and whine about not getting my elephant. But today I got my elephant!!! \ I won’t necessarily say that good things come in small packages, but LOTS of things sure came in this package! Our letter carrier crammed it into the mailbox, then left the rest of our mail in the newspaper compartment underneath. So, without further ado, here are all the items **Stoid** gifted me with. (Obviously grammar lessons didn’t come in the box…) [ul]  A beanbag dalmatian – which my dalmatian just loves. I expect to have beanbag dalmatian bits all over the carpet before long.  A tube of Silker 2-in-1 shaping cream. I wondered at first if it was a bust enhancer, but it’s for hair – “style and condition in one easy step”  A Wire Art horse kit “Fun for ages 7-97”  A Beverly Hillbillies lunchbox keychain with a teeny-tiny thermos and apple inside.  A Qui-Gon Jinn keychain – his lightsabre is unimpressively short  An adapter to make a 2-prong outlet accept a 3-prong plug  A teeny little silk purse – maybe 2” square  Botanical eye compresses – “to help soothe and revitalize the eye area” – but they require that I recline and relax for 20 minutes…. In _this_ house?!?!  A black Bic pen  A packet of Italian flat leaf parsley seeds – packaged for 2000 – wonder if they’ll still grow?  A wet-nap from Mobil Oil  Six baby powder scent cloth towelettes – for freshening [sub]down there[/sub]  _Chinese Rain_ perfume oil blend – nice scent!  Two black hair clips – that is, they’re black, not necessarily for use on black hair  A Cartman wristwatch – it’s not running – mebbe a dead battery?  A blue arrow stamp marker  A packet of Aveeno Daily Moisturizing Bath  A partially empty pack of cotton swabs  A sample of Fair Beige foundation  A gray pencil with an elephant on the end  A glass pen and pen holder – the box says “Valley of the Kings – Made in Egypt” – this is cool  A small black ceramic picture frame – the Perfect Child[sup]TM[/sup] will try to take this  A small fabric covered box  A bottle of Cashmere Crème fingernail strengthener  A small dolphin  A dolphin rubber stamp  Two water bomb balls  A book called “What Dogs Teach Us”  A book called “Rescue 471 – A Paramedic’s Story” [/ul]What a wonderful way to end the week!
