White House announces Russian sanctions.

In what specific way has the intelligence community been untrustworthy in their assessment of existing cyber-security threats or their position on Assange and Snowden?

“Sad!”

Party before country. You couldn’t make it more plain.

Cite? I’m not aware of any serious evidence that Trump / Republicans “collaborated” with Russian oligarchs and criminals on the DNC / Podesta leaks. Do you have any?

So, here you are, the staunch and relentless enemy of exaggeration and hyperbole. Would that it were so.

So, tell us, what were you expecting when Il Douche told us all that he had special secret intelligence he was going to deliver “Tuesday or Wednesday”?

By the way, this is Thursday…

Interestingly enough, neither FBI nor other intelligence agencies ever examined DNC servers themselves.

Why is that “interesting”?

There are no actual pay stubs with Trumps name on them from the Kremlin! He just accepts the word of Russian spys over that of US Intelligence agents who have sworn an oath to the constitution! So it’s all OK!

Useful idiots are never entrusted with the dirty work.

In days Trump will swear his own oath. It’s cool, because I’m sure he’s studied the Constitution. Or at least read it once. Or glanced at it. Hey, I’m sure he knows there’s a thing called the Constitution, and that it is important.

No need to, Crowdstrike imaged the discs. If you think about it, the alternative would be to take all the DNC computers to the FBI lab and examine them while the DNC replaced all their computers and rebuilt their network from scratch. The logical thing is what happened. Crowdstrike imaged the discs, cleaned the computers, the DNC got back to work and everyone has a bit for bit disc image of the infected computers to work with.

Kinda like saying “No need for the police forensic specialists to come look at the scene of the crime, the private security company performed the analysis, then moved everything very carefully to their headquarters and recreated the scene there, so if the police wants to they can go examine it there. Or just use the private company’s gathered evidence.”

So the official report won’t be available until Monday. Maybe. That’s good to know.

Does this mean that the rest of this public conversation is more political than factual in nature? Has this been more of a “he says/she says” fingerderpoken blame-game time-killer?

Hahahaha. I’ve already stated that I don’t like Assange. In this very thread. But you have no way of knowing that. Keep up the good work.

No.

It means that the report will be available Monday, after briefings have been held with the current president, the president elect, and members of the Senate.

You must have mistaken this for one of Trump’s “announcements” that he’s going to tell us all of the special stuff he knows Yesterday. We’re still waiting with bated breath for the Great Man’s announcement. Also the bombshell about Trump’s investigators in Hawaii who will "uncover “one of the greatest cons in the history of politics and beyond. I have people that have been studying it and they cannot believe what they’re finding.” Can’t wait for that one.

Insinuation firmly supported by suggestion, buttressed by intuition without being sullied with evidence.

So you don’t have any evidence to support your “collaborate” claim?

The DNC embarrassed itself when it allowed itself to be hacked.
The DNC was embarrassed when the contents of it’s emails became public.
Hillary’s campaign was embarrassed because Obama didn’t do anything about the Russian interference BEFORE it was too late to help Hillary’s election.

No, not like that at all. A disc image is as good as having the actual computer.

No, there are a lot of facts publicly available that your side is ignoring because of your political bias.

Hahahaha. And you assume that Trump’s information could not possibly be coming from the same sources as the “official” report now due on Monday? The same “official” report that keeps getting delayed?
