White men are obsolete. We should all be exterminated. White men contribute nothing to the world and only consume resources while destroying the world’s environment. All bad things come from white men: guns, pollution, corporations, imperialism. And white men are selfish and emotionally damaging. So white men should be abolished. This will happen very quickly and easily. White men will report to the nearest Cleansing Center. There they will be shipped to the Grand Canyon and will walk off the edge. White men in Europe will be loaded onto ships, will have weights tied to them, and dropped in the Marianias Trench. White men which are not provably white will be neutered and used as slaves. Because white men are the oppressor class, we will no longer need to worry about fear, domination, or oppression. All people will be equal and hapopy without White Men. -Smiling Bandit, who is very sad ---

You shouldn’t read Michael Moore. If it weren’t for white men, where’d you be for the infrastructure of modern society - power, water, sewerage, transportation, telecommunications, mountains of dirt-cheap food, and some way cool toys? Where’d you turn to for the steam engine, the aeroplane, the light-bulb, the power station, the microprocessor… Any such discussion must necessarily end at “Yeah, but what else have white men done for us?” ---

They took their nonexistent wealth (it having been confiscated to begin reperations for the white’s continual oppression and imperialism) and used it to manipulate the (mrph mrph mrph mrph mrph), thus _clearly_ causing all the economic and social problems in Zimbabwe. Robert Mugabe is a hero for expelling those perfidous white devils. He’s been lauded by Nelson Mandela, so he must be good. ---

Ok, hang on a moment. Speaking as someone whose parents still talk about the British occupation of India, and who has a similar love-hate relationship to them as my parents, I can’t agree. The British - Enslaved or ruled everyone they could Took over the world Raped the environment Killed animals just because BUT they also -Pretty much put a stop to the practice of _suttee_ in India (If you don’t know what that is, you should be ashamed, and go look it up - Brought modern amenities to India - Were the first step in relaxing the caste system - Helped make it possible for women to get an education And most recently, I found out a very small but touching fact about the British. I did not know the India Gate, which is a memorial to fallen British and Indian soldiers in WWII, was made by the British. I certainly didn’t know it was a tribute to the Indians, too. At that time the British must have been realizing they were at the end of their days in India - the war was in the 30’s and 40’s and the occupation ended in 1947. Yet they still did this small act of acknowledgement, and it touches me. ---

Look, I like white men as much as the next person. Hell, I study dead white men for a living (or at least the hope of a future living). But seriously, white men are not, as a class, oppressed in Europe and the United States. White men are _in charge_. You are not prevented from reaching your full potential. I’m sorry people are giving you totally undeserved shit about how white men are evil, devils, whatever. But that should not make you sad. It should make you roll your eyes and continue doing whatever you’re doing. ---

You’ll find Indian graves in British WW1 cemeteries all over Flanders and the Somme, and their names cheek by jowl with ours on monuments like the Thiepval Memorial and the Menin Gate. ---
