In [this thread](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?p=4661725#post4661725), I asked what the **five foods beginning with the letter Q** were, as seen in the movie _White Men Can’t Jump_. I got a little exasperated. Even a little snippy. Perhaps a little bitter. My apologies if I’ve offended anyone there, or here. Feel free to Pit me for asking for something so nit-picky.

Nit-picky or not, the folks in GQ have utterly failed to answer my question. So, according to the same rules put forth in that post, I am now offering to **pay for one year’s subscription to the SDMB** for whoever can dig up a tape, DVD, or script and provide me a definitive cite for the answer to my question.

Yes, I’m that desperate.

_ **Disclaimer** : I don’t care if your cat’s name is Quincy or Quimby. I don’t care if you have a good recipe for Queen’s Pudding. I don’t care if you can brute-force a dictionary and tell me what all of the foods in the English language are that begin with “Q”._

I’ve watched the DVD.

At 51 minutes in, Billy and Gloria talk about “Q” foods – but none are named. At 80 minutes in they have an argument and “quince” is named. At 88 minutes in (chapter 15 on the DVD) is the _Jeopardy_ segment. Trebek announces the 6 categories: Medicine; Superstitions; Natural Disasters; Books of the Bible; Sports; and Foods that Begin with the Letter “Q.” When Gloria picks the “Q” food cateogry, she names **four** “Q” foods (in order quail; quiche; quahog; quince - the Daily Double), then they go to Double Jeopardy. While the movie does not show the categories changing, if this is supposed to be the real _Jeopardy_, all the categories should be new. This is supported by the fact that the former champion picks the Popes category to open the Double Jeopardy round, a category that was not available before. Gloria correctly answers the Pope question and all the remaining questions.

Judges, do we have a ruling?
