I just finished reading “White Noise”, the Don DiLillo book from 1985 that was recently made into a movie. I had not heard of the book until a few years ago, and haven’t seen the movie yet.

Wow, what a trip! Some cultural references do date it, but other things in it certainly applied to modern times, and incredibly, the book had no profanity in it. I had heard that the book was considered unfilmable, and if IMDB is to be taken seriously, that’s probably true, but I’m at least going to attempt it.
