# whither randy savage

Recently I have become acquainted with the spectacle which is professional wrestling. As a tender youth I had an abiding interest which was superseded, thankfully, by girls.  
A friend of mine was kind enough to say that Randy Savage will never, ever again appear with the WWF/WWE saying there was some enmity between Vince and the Macho Man and how Randy wouldn’t even get a video made like they made for The Ultimate Warrior.  
Searching the internet I came upon an interesting rumor regarding the bad blood, how Randy got on Vince’s bad side because of an encounter with Stephanie McMahon. It’s quite lurid. Since it’s so sensational I have dismissed it but it has only served to spark my curiousity and enquire here at the Straight Dope Message Board if anyone has the slenderest of ideas about why Randy “The Macho Man” Savage is persona non grata with the WWF/WWE.

Dude, that thread’s like 80% “ZOMG ORNDORFF RULEZ” and it brings up another question that I knew nothing about, what did Savage do with Shane?  
[small]also a bit disappointed it doesn’t involve gay sex[/small]
