Why does everyone keep blaming Bobby Brown for her death? She was old enough to make her OWN bad choices. Do people still blame Mary Kate Olsen for Heath Ledger’s death? God I hate that Bodyguard song. Now its gonna be EVERYWHERE again… ---

Damn. Not Whitney. I know people like to blame Whitney for the overly melismatic trend in pop/r&b but I think all that can be traced solely to IWALY. Listen to her SSB rendition at the 1991 Superbowl. ---

Houston was a superb singer whose work I didn’t particularly care for. She is not the first (nor will she be the last) talented artist who succumbs to their personal demons. ---

A hundred bucks said she died of a drug overdose. People don’t often die that young, and she had a history. In any event, she had one of the greatest voices I ever heard. And then she met Bobby Brown and that was that. What a shame. ---
