Redford’s gone. Beatty’s still around. Jane Fonda and Faye Dunaway are still among the living. I’m rather pleasantly surprised that Shatner and Eastwood are still alive and kicking. The other night I saw a piece on Youtube featuring Shirley MacLaine, and as her death wasn’t announced I don’t think it was a “legacy” piece. I was amazed that she outlived not only June Lockhart, but Claude Jarman, Jr. The Shat and Clint aside, it seems that the Vigodas of today are mostly old gals. ---
