[Oskar Dirlewanger](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oskar_Dirlewanger#Death) was _probably_ beaten to death, though the exact circumstances of his death seem to be uncertain. If there is _anyone_ in the history of mankind who was more deserving of being beaten to death than this guy, I have no fucking idea who it is. ---

Here’s one up for debate, but I think anyone who breaks into a persons house multiple times over a period of time and eventually winds up getting shot or stabbed and killed by the home owner deserved to die. You may go “Property is not worth taking a life for” but in my mind, the moment you break into somebody’s domain where they’re actively living in more than once it’s no longer about stealing to survive, rather it’s an intimidation game where the intruder is doing it deliberately to show their power over someone. If you read the news stories it’s always people who have broke in dozens of times and they make off with trivial amounts of cash or property but they continue to break in anyway knowing the home owner could do nothing about it. They know they’re terrorizing somebody but continue to do it anyway which shows they have a complete lack of empathy and aren’t doing it to feed their family. If the police can’t do anything about it and security systems don’t work, what else can a person do? ---

Your post reminded me of a hair-raising eyewitness [account](http://www.warsawuprising.com/witness/schenk.htm) of the atrocities he and his band of scum perpetrated which I had stumbled across years ago. If [Darren Henry](http://dawnbreedon.com/sitebuildercontent/sitebuilderfiles/HopeandHealingstorywpictures.pdf) hadn’t taken his own life, Dawn Breedon’s brothers would have murdered him. I’ve known Dawn for about 40 years, and I know that statement is true. Darren Henry deserved to die. ---
