Before Manhattan, way back on the AOL board, we had a precursor to the sort of kid who starts thousands of pointless GQ question threads–but this guy was on drugs. He used to begin **every freaking thread** with the phrase "Manny peoples wonder and now I ask. . . " followed by his lame (and often insulting, frequently racist) question. He actually did not last very long, but the damage was done and he became, in the minds of the AOL crowd, “Manny Peeples.” There are still a number of AOL types hobbling around with our walkers. Some post less frequently than they did, but they show up from time to time.
