I read through that Reddit link, and was surprised that Thora Birch didn’t come up. Her parents are Carol Conners and Jack Birch, and met on the set of one of her mom’s porn movies. She was the nurse in _Deep Throat_ and had a successful series of films with her character “Candy.” ---

I’ll echo the difficulty in recognizing adult entertainers without their makeup. A very long time ago, I worked part-time at a strip club, DJing, barbacking, whatever. The ladies working for that evening would begin showing up about an hour before opening time, and were required to tell the bartender or whoever was assigned the chore that they were there and on time. The first few times, I had to ask “And who are you, again?” when some of them would breeze by, saying “I’m here.” Arguably the most beautiful woman there when I worked was rather plain-faced and wore coke-bottle glasses in her “street clothes.” That was the one that dropped my jaw the first time I saw her in her ‘Before’ phase, but she had the good grace to laugh instead of being offended. I still buy into the illusion all the time, but most of the time I do remember it is just that. ---

You should be a prude. That you cant understand the problem of exposing children to this sort of sexuality leads me to believe that you dont understand sexuality. Not to mention that such demonstrations would be illegal; even in Sweden. ---

I think it would be interesting to get lots of kids of famous people together and get them to share what its like. I’m talking famous actors, musicians, athletes, politicians, etc… Now from what I’ve seen the kids of famous people are often expected to go into that area so I doubt a porn stars daughter will be thought of us chaste. ---

I don’t know about amateurs, but there are a couple of porn pros who maintain blogs that are not just promo pieces for their next job. They give some idea what sort of person the porn star is, I think, and they come off looking pretty good. Of course, there’s an obvious selection bias: there are a lot of porn stars whose blogs are just promotional pieces for their work and tell you nothing of who they are, but still, interesting reading nonetheless.
