Animal poachers. Especially those rhino poachers who are causing the black rhino to go extinct. ETA: Anybody to willingly and **maliciously** hurts a child or animal, IMHO. ---

Granted, there are those who do honor killings in places where their families wouldn’t be negatively affected. In that case, yea, they’re just trying to follow a custom they don’t need to follow. ---

But… but… but… There are so many excellent reasons to hate us. We hired the portugese to sell slaves in the americas. We funded Boko Haram (Shell did, one way or the other) We’re total assholes on the soccerpitch (at least: we strive to be). Don’t just say we got picked on because you took pity on the Belgians (or is it because you are afraid?) We’re perfectly capable of being assholes in our own right! ---

My vote for the worst people in the world are those that reflexively label those who disagree with them as evil and assign all kinds of motives to their opposition without really trying to understand the people behind the politics/religion. This covers a shitload of people, from the Islamic jihadists to extreme partisans on both sides in the U.S. The kind of shallow , idiology based thinking that the exermists use allows them to dehumanize their opponents. And when.that happens it is just a short jump to believing that crucifiction is a fine thing to do to those evil \. Of course, I expect it will never go away. It is intellectually easier to dismiss those you disagree with as evil than to really try and understand their point of view. And from the emotional side, many people seem to find comfort in setting themselves up as superior based upon some self assigned group membership. The leaders know this and play to it. Critical thinking is discouraged and questioning the party line is considered treason, except for within some narrow, and arbitrary areas. So it turns into a giant partisan circle jerk. Thankfully, at least in the U.S., the extreme partisans seem to be a minority on both sides. They are loud and get a lot of attention for being loud. That sucks because the extreme partisans pull each side further away from the center. However we seem to have enough sane people in the middle to temper the extremists a bit. Other areas aren’t so lucky. Slee ---
