The OP in this post sounds young [Stigma of tagalog/Filipino and other creole languages - Miscellaneous and Personal Stuff I Must Share - Straight Dope Message Board](https://boards.straightdope.com/t/stigma-of-tagalog-filipino-and-other-creole-languages/989229), and post 36 says “Our language fanatic is only 14, I think”. I’m not sure where that age info comes from. ---
