Mormons.

They were never led to my door back when I had a large winged gargoyle on the front porch (very like [this](http://www.amazon.com/Florentine-Gargoyle-Statue-Size-Large/dp/B003M0KAA0/ref=sr_1_3?s=lawn-garden&ie=UTF8&qid=1409683350&sr=1-3&keywords=gargoyles)one). Funny how that worked.

Sure its possible. Its the Mormon modus operandi (two young men proselytizing, with the suit and hairdo, backpack and books and so on ) described.  
Its way beyond balance of probabilities.
