I read Savage Love religiously. Like Dan, I was a fan of Ann Landers. I never read Dear Abby, but supposedly it’s not as good now that Pauline Phillips is gone and her daughter writes the column. I understand the relationship between “Annie” and “Abby” was cool, but their daughters seem to have been actively feuding over the rights to their mothers’ legacy. –Cliffy ---

> [@neuroman](#): > > Carolyn Hax’s Tell Me About It Yes, sometimes good, but damn she gets tedious. Of course, she’s nothing compared to quitcherbeefin’ Ann. [Previous page](https://boards.straightdope.com/t/who-are-your-favorite-advice-columnists/294054.md?page=1)
