I’m User #19810. User #19809 is **Rayne Man** , who is still around. He joined in January of 2001 and then no one else signed up till me in March of 2002. That can’t be right. User #19811 was Seahawk, who was banned after 15 posts. ---

Prior to me is user **fskelly** who has made 0 posts since joining. After me is **poopypants** with 3 posts in IMHO. Currently active members don’t start popping up 'til **Typo Knig** 11 users ahead of me, and **Jimson\_Jim** 8 users behind me, though neither of them are frequent posters. ---

Maybe a bunch of posters were lost in the shuffle? I signed up in November or December, and had to sign up again when the Board came back on-line. ---

My number is 2680. Neighbor to the south is **Vada** , nine posts, last activity in April of 2000, and neighbor to the north is **tatertot** , 2633 posts, last activity in June of 2002. It’s lonely down here in the lower user numbers. snif. ---

I’m number 31484. 31483 is Jayvius, who’s never had anything to say here. 31485 is Codeloss, who made 10 posts, most recently in early 2004. Their neighbors include Lobelia Overhill (31482) who’s still around as of the other day, and Trygve who hasn’t said much lately at all. ---

I’m #25429. Joining right before me was **Gaijin** , whose signature is the Biblical quote “See how a person is justified by works and not by faith alone.” **Gaijin** ’s works included 131 posts between join date (9/15/2002) and most recent activity (5/23/2003). I was followed by **starry** , a “non-us student” who never posted. Indeed, there are no currently active **Dopers** within a 20-spot radius of my place on the list. If this board acquired new members through a draft, the person who served as general manager on those mid-September days about four years ago would have long since been fired in disgrace… ---

Things are pretty bad in my neighborhood also. **Rugy** at 27,005 has 17 posts. **Smollie** at 27,007 has 0 posts. Things don’t get a lot better if we move along the street either. The ten posters on both sides of me have a total of 715 posts. Not so bad you might think, but 657 of them belong to **MrTuffPaws**. I’m thinking of selling my number and purchasing one in an area that is less of a potential crack haven. I see that there is some property with potential next to **El-Kabong**. If **x** would sell we would have three posters in a row with a total of 8,300 posts. Probably has good schools in the area too.
