You wouldn’t think a country that voted for Bush would turn around and vote in Obama, but here we are. But I’ll go with Hillary Clinton. She says she wouldn’t run again. She’s lying, IMO. And given that fortunate female lifespan … yeah… I think she could run and win. ---

Yeah, Biden is the obvious pick. Odds, are, it’s going to be Biden against the Republican field. Age may be a problem, though (he’d be 74 ), so maybe not. In that case, I’ll pick Palin, as unlikely as it is, because I actually think the next president will be someone you would never have guessed today. It’ll either be a new star rising out of the Republican party, or one of the new Democrats that will become a heavyweight through the Obama administration. The governing party in Washington is changing, and that brings a ton of new people into new roles. Some will fall flat and go away, but some will become elder statesmen and be in line for the Presidency then. ---
