Seeing the ‘Dead End’ sign reminded me of a [better juxtaposition](https://www.google.com/maps/@36.5498901,-82.2239662,3a,30y,261.46h,86.11t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1sTDrejzcpv940cvj7ITPY3Q!2e0!7i13312!8i6656) involving such a sign. Back when I lived down there, I always grinned when I saw that sign combo. ---

For the country road that meanders, Robin Hood’s Barn Lane Simon Boulevard Mr. Celtic Knot suggested a development in which all streets are named for rock and roll songs. There’s probably one already that I don’t know about. Abbey Rd., Penny Ln., Baker St., Long Valley Rd., Copperhead Rd., Take Me Home Country Rd., Every Day is a Winding Rd., and Old Town Rd. off the top of our heads. Carefree Highway is taken; it’s in Phoenix. ---
