I was watching the unveiling of those ridiculuous Christo arches in Central Park this morning, and noticed the artist’s wife…who the hell does her hair? She looks like the old Bozo the Clown! Shocking orange tint-electrostatic explosion…man, is she for real? By the way,I thought those arch things were stupid…are they to be taken down? What will they sell for? ---

Personally, I don’t get the whole Christo gig. He wastes tons of money defacing things and then it all has to be taken down anyhow. Well I guess the arches look cute enough, but I wonder WHY, in the middle of Manhattan, the only semi-natural space has to be “improved” with orange flags? ---

Saw 'em on the news today. This guy gets _paid_ to hang a bunch of 70’s looking burnt-orange shower curtains in a perfectly good park? Where can I get a slice of this art action? I can rustle up a bunch of fluffy apricot toilet seat covers that would look _tres chic_ nailed to some trees on a golf course. ---
