The smartest play I made all night was folding KJ-suited before the flop. It’s worth pointing out that I have no kills for the entire quarter so far, and I don’t know how much longer I can keep blaming it on the cards. Not to be too much of an attention whore here, but what the hell am I doing wrong? ---

Unlike a limit game, you can control the pot odds in a NL game. Of course, it helps to get decent cards once in a while. Sometimes, they never come. ---

Got the QT on the flop (IIRC). Stuck enough chips out there begging for a 9 or an A, sucked out an A on the river, thought I had it made. But nooooo. Nook out-sucked me for a friggen boat. And **RA** , don’t sweat it too much. I had the most wins and the most kills last Q and still finished at the bottom of the pack. Some days you’re the Duke, some days the Duck. ---

I’m very competitive. It’s not that I expect to make it to the World Series next year or anything, I just hate sucking at something and not knowing why.
