I’m so happy to meet such understanding people ! I HATE shorts, I think it looks ridiculous, moreover worn by hairy people And I hate wearing them, with my skinny legs you can’t see me, and it allows for unwanted fresh air in misplaced places… I thought I was the only one in the world to be like that… ---

I never wear 'em. I grew up in the boonies, where wearing shorts outside of the yard (as in, into the pasture or down to the creek) was just asking for various bites and stings to your legs, while having said legs torn to shreds by bramble vines and other thorny plants. This also means I’m comfortable (or, as comfortable as one can be) in 100 degree weather in bluejeans. The only exception here is if I’m swimming. Of course my swimsuit looks like a pair of shorts. I just don’t feel comfortable in shorts. If I wanna show my knees off, I’ll just put on a kilt. ---

I never wear shorts, skirts, or dresses without either some sort of black or grey tights/hose underneath. (And yeah, tights go okay with tall boots and black shorts.) My skin is so insanely pale it’s almost translucent, and I’d rather not have people trying to count the veins in my legs or anything. Nice shape, no colour. ---

I’m a girl. I never wear them. I’m a skinny chick with fat legs. That just about says it all. I am also so pale that I practically glow in the dark and I have cellulite (I weight less than 100 pounds). I also have a few really dark, ugly purple veins (I’m 19). My legs were beaten with the ugly stick. Oh yeah, and my knees are fat. -M ---

I’m along with the wear shorts in most every weather crowd. Although they are the almost knee length, so I don’t know if that is quite shorts. I have no idea if I have good lower legs, although my calves are huge. One of the side effects of being fat is that with every step my calf has to lift 260 pounds so they get one hell of a workout constantly. ---

I don’t wear shorts unless my dad is bitching at me, and I’m kinda forced to wear them. In hot weather, they really don’t feel any cooler to me. I don’t like shaving my legs every day (which I would HAVE to do to not feel weird). And–this is the first and foremost–I’m a klutz who bruises easily. This means that I usually have one extremely unattractive bruise on my legs from something that I did (hiking, getting into the car wrong, tripping, walking into my bed). I don’t really want to show off my injuries. Plus, it seems like they hardly ever make the kind of shorts I like (smaller than a tent, larger than a postage stamp). Oh, hell, I just don’t like 'em.
