# Who has done it, or wants to do it?

Just out of curiosity, I was wondering how many Dopers have ever flamed **oneself** or have wanted to. I am seriously thinking about flaming myself, for things I have, or _have not_, done in my personal life. :mad: :eek: 😕

Should I flame myself?  
Anybody care to flame oneself? If yes, that is what this thread is for.

I dunno, **Not** , I don’t think _every_ forehead-slapping moment is an expression of masochism. (Not that I am particularly eager to publicly flagellate myself, of course).

As to the OP: yeah, we’ve had a few people get up and either kick themselves in the butt or offer apologies in the form of self-abasement. If you feel the need, have at it. (Just don’t come back whining about how cruel we are when a dozen posters take your post as an invitation to join you in heaping abuse _on you_.)

My OP was to be taken with a grain of salt. It’s meant as a self-parody, not self-abuse. I was just trying to see if anyone had any amusing replies. I hadn’t realized, until now, that “Personalized flames! by yer pal, Satan” was the same concept. I apologize for duplicating.
